CARite was founded by industry veteran Don Foss in 2011. Our founding principles are based on over fifty years of experience accumulated by Don in the auto retail and finance space. CARite answers a question Don had been asking himself for years prior to the company’s founding: “If I had to do it all over again, what would I do differently?” The answer was CARite, a national network of car dealers committed to a higher standard of service that gives independent dealers the opportunity to grow and prosper with a powerful brand behind them.

Our stated purpose is to offer better cars, a better experience and peace of mind to all CARite customers, regardless of their credit history. With a wide selection of vehicles, haggle-free pricing and multiple financing options available at each location, customers can shop with true peace of mind. In addition to operating Corporate-owned stores, CARite also offers select independently owned dealerships the opportunity to partner with them under the CARite brand.
